Awards for Excellence

Recognising excellence within recruitment and staffing

The 2025 APSCo Australia Awards for Excellence are now open.

We’re rethinking recognition and this year, the APSCo Awards for Excellence are taking a new direction.

In 2025, we’re moving away from lengthy written nominations. Instead, we’re moving to a format that will feel more familiar to recruiters - an interview-style conversation with a judging panel where substance, authenticity, and real impact take centre stage.

It’s a new approach that puts people and stories at the centre.

Why the change?

Because we’ve listened  - to your feedback, to the realities of the market, and to what today’s recruitment professionals really value.

This year, we’ve simplified the entry process to focus on what really matters: the impact of your work.

There are no lengthy written submissions. Instead, we’re asking you to briefly explain your nominated project, initiative, or achievement in 400 words, and then take part in a short online interview with our judging panel.

Dates and times for these interviews will be arranged and communicated after entries close. The interviews will be held during the month of August.

To enter the Awards, simply complete the application form via our Awards platform, for your chosen category and briefly explain your project.

You will be requested to nominate a person/s (maximum 2) who will participate in the online interview with the judging panel via Zoom. Please make sure the people nominated for interview are directly involved in the initiative and can speak confidently about it.

A note about the Future Leader and Leader Recognition categories:

Please note: These categories are about recognition, not competition. There will be no interview conducted with the judging panel to determine finalists or winners. All nominees will be acknowledged in a special presentation at the APSCo Gala Dinner in October - a moment to celebrate their contribution in front of their peers and industry leaders.
