Australia PEO and New Zealand PEO come together as ANZPEO

In July 2026, Australia PEO and New Zealand PEO officially came together under one unified brand, ANZPEO, marking the next stage in the evolution of the business and creating one clearer identity across Australia and New Zealand.



Founded in 2018, Australia PEO was established to help international businesses navigate the practicalities of employing people in Australia without needing to establish their own local entity. As the business grew, increasing client demand for support in New Zealand led to the establishment of New Zealand PEO, extending the same hands-on approach across the Tasman.


Over time, our capabilities have continued to evolve alongside the needs of our clients. Today, ANZPEO supports businesses with Employer of Record (EOR), payroll and HR management, alongside employer-sponsored visa solutions through our On-Hire Labour Agreement in Australia and Accredited Employer status in New Zealand.


Bringing the two businesses together under ANZPEO reflects the way many of our clients operate. Businesses are increasingly looking beyond a single market when considering where to expand, hire and access talent, and having one regional partner can make that process easier to navigate.


For recruitment and staffing businesses, finding the right candidate can be just one part of the equation. Clients may identify talent in Australia or New Zealand but not have the local entity, employment infrastructure or visa sponsorship capability required to employ them. This is where an Employer of Record can provide the bridge between finding the right person and employing them compliantly.


While ANZPEO now provides one regional identity, Australia and New Zealand remain distinct employment markets. Each has its own employment legislation, payroll requirements, HR considerations and immigration pathways. Maintaining local knowledge within each market remains fundamental to how we support both clients and their employees.
